Clare spent many exciting years as a radio and TV personality. In her twenties, she survived several life-threatening allergic reactions and is thankful for every day since. Through the years she never liked running, but at age 55 she entered a 5K race to honor a friend’s brother, and running soon became her sanctuary. Between ages 57 and 65, she has completed 5 marathons, including New York and Boston.
More important than the medals is the sense of gratitude for her health and the human connection she feels with fellow runners.
Marianne T. Ritchie, MD was one of the first female gastroenterologists practicing in the Philadelphia area. An advocate for over 30 years, Dr. Ritchie developed the PINKPLUS triple cancer screening program, and the BLUE LIGHTS CAMPAIGNfor Colon Cancer Awareness.
