Your Real Champion® – “Super Sibs”
When a child has cancer we focus on treatment of the disease, as well as bringing comfort and hope to the patient and his/her parents. But what about the siblings of the sick child? Their daily lives are also disrupted, because Mom and Dad spend so much time with their brother or sister who is suffering. Alex’s Lemonade Stand is an organization whose mission is to change the lives of children with cancer through impactful research, raising awareness and supporting families. The “Super Sibs” program is a brilliant and thoughtful way to remember children in a family dealing with childhood cancer, when they might otherwise feel forgotten.
