For over 40 years, the Maternity Care Coalition (MCC) has been serving families in Southeastern Pennsylvania and now reaches into Delaware. Black and Brown birthing people and families in the US often face inequitable systems. The mission of MCC is to improve the health and well-being of pregnant people, babies, and their families by supporting, referring, educating, researching, and advocating. At the helm is a remarkable leader named Marianne Fray who has “service” in her DNA.
