For 100 years, the American Heart Association has supported research, trained community members in CPR and raised awareness about heart disease and strokes. Funds raised have supported 15 Nobel Prize winners during their careers.
Tune in to hear more from David Morris, vice president of the American Heart Association in the Greater Philadelphia region and South Jersey.
Join the AHA’s Heart Walk next Saturday, Nov. 2, at Citizens Bank Park. This year’s chair of the Heart Walk is Independence Blue Cross President and CEO Greg Deavens, a top fundraiser through his company, as a team leader and as an individual walker.
Register for the 5K or the 1-mile walk. All are welcome—bring your kids and pets! It’s fun and good for your heart. Check-in opens at 7 a.m. and the walk begins at 8 a.m.
