For over 18 years, Bev Williams has served on the team of the Department of Public Safety at Thomas Jefferson University. In her role as a Security Officer, she spent close to a decade at the entrance to the Emergency Department acting as the face of Jefferson. She has seen people in their darkest moments of fear, pain, and worry. In return, she has offered direction, comfort, and prayer. She believes that God blesses us to BLESS someone else. So when an argumentative person comes in yelling, she sees it as a cry for help, she doesn’t judge. Bev offers love and respect to everyone she meets. She looks at each suffering soul and says “It could have been me.”
