Your Real Champion®: “Diapers for Darlings“
Your Radio Doctor® is inviting listeners to help impoverished mothers welcome their precious little darlings into the world and embrace them with comfort and love.
St. Edmond’s Home for Children is a magical place. It is home to 44 children with severe and profound intellectual disabilities along with physical disabilities. Denise Clofine is the administrator who directs and oversees operations, but doesn’t take any credit for her own leadership. Instead she sings the praises of her dedicated and loving staff who tend to each child’s individual needs. Denise shares, “My reward includes the gifts of compassion, love, forgiveness, faith and hope from these children who remind us that they are making our lives better and to be kind to one another. I am humbled to work here.” They say that St. Edmond’s Home for Children is where miracles happen every day. I guess that makes Denise Clofine “The Miracle Worker.”
