Your Real Champion – The ‘Mask’ Crusader
Frances Lee has spent her career in healthcare and is currently the Executive Assistant at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, where she continues to infuse her love and energy. At the height of the pandemic, she rose to the challenge to collect masks and food for the medical teams. Overwhelmed by the kindness of donors, she shared the thousands of excess masks with the Camden community. And when others stayed safe in their homes, Frances risked her own health to pick-up and deliver food from generous restaurants in Philly and Camden. Frances says, “You have to have the right people in your life to motivate you.” For Frances, the values of the Golden Rule were instilled by her father, who was a pastor, and her mother who was a teacher. She also credits inspiration from working side-by-side with Dr. Grana, Director of the Cancer Center. “It’s all about grace. I feel very blessed.”
