Partnerships of Army and Civilian Trauma Teams – As part of the Army’s plan to maximize battlefield readiness to treat service men and women around the globe, military medical personnel will be embedded at Cooper University Hospital to gain exposure to critical care of more severe trauma and surgical patients than they typically experience in a military treatment facility. The benefit is mutual, as the military professionals are providing excellent care to the community in return. The program is called AMCT3 (Army Military-Civilian Trauma Team Training.) Cooper is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in all of South Jersey with a high volume of trauma and expertise in surgical and critical care.

Your Real Champion® – George Clarke: A Son of the American Revolution
George Clarke is a patriot. He can trace his lineage back to at least five people who were active in the Revolutionary War. This qualifies him to be a Son of the American Revolution, a group that was started on April 30, 1889, the 100th anniversary of the inauguration of George Washington as our nation’s first president. Their mission is to promote patriotism, serve our communities, and preserve American history by educating and inspiring future generations about the founding principles of the country. George is also proud of his Scottish roots as a drummer for the St. Andrew’s Society.
