I am Constantly Clearing my Throat – Join us to hear an update on various forms of acid reflux. Most people are familiar with GERD (reflux of acid from the stomach into the lower esophagus), but acid that travels higher can irritate tissue in the throat resulting in a condition called LPR (laryngo-pharyngeal reflux.) Dr. Joseph Spiegel is a nationally recognized Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist) who will review these conditions in detail. More recently the “No Burp Syndrome” has garnered attention and Dr. Spiegel is treating one of the nation’s largest number of patients.

Meet Our Guest: Joseph R. Spiegel, MD

Professor of Otolaryngology, Head/Neck Surgery

Sidney Kimmel Medical College

Thomas Jefferson University

Director, Voice and Swallowing Center

Department of Otolaryngology

Jefferson University Hospital
