Ritchie spoke with Dr. Maura Sammon about how you can plan to stay healthy while traveling internationally. Of the people who travel to high-risk regions, fewer than half seek advice from a travel medicine provider. Issues that need to be addressed before departure include protection from mosquitoes which can carry Malaria, Zika and other serious illnesses.  Depending on the itinerary, duration of travel, and the purpose of the trip, the traveler may also need immunizations and be prepared to address traveler’s diarrhea.  Tune in for this important review from a leading expert.
