The Value of Community in our Health and Wellbeing – On Saturday, July 8, Dr. Marianne T. Ritchie spoke with Dr. James Pawelski and his wife, Suzie Pileggi Pawelski, about the value of community. Social connection to family members, friends and colleagues at work is essential to our overall health. Recently, the Surgeon General released an advisory that the epidemic of loneliness and isolation is a health risk. We welcome the return of Dr. James Pawelski and his wife, Suzie Pileggi Pawelski, for this important discussion. Then we head to Ocean City, New Jersey, where the vibrant community spirit is alive and well all summer, especially when it’s time to celebrate the Fourth of July! Learn about the great traditions that make community members and visitors feel secure and why it deserves the name of “America’s Greatest Family Resort.”
