The screening age for colorectal cancer has been lowered to age 45 for everyone because of the rise in numbers of cases in younger people. Women often think it’s a “man’s disease” and many focus only on getting an annual mammogram and gynecology exam. News flash! When we combine men and women, more people die from colorectal cancer than from breast cancer. Screening for ALL cancers is important.
