For our thirteenth episode, Your host Dr. Deni Carise, Chief Science Officer at Recovery Centers of America and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine goes over binge drinking – what it means to be a binge drinker and how it differs from substance use disorders.

  • It takes 4 drinks for women and 5 drinks for men to be considered “binge drinking”.
  • 1 in 6 people in the USA binge drink and on average 4 times a month – that’s a lot of people!

Your Radio Doctor® host, Dr. Marianne Ritchie, has spent many years teaching medical students, residents, and patients – often one at a time.  As the host of the only all-medical talk radio show in the greater Philadelphia region, she can impact thousands each week. She wants to be your voice… asking questions of experts from top medical centers around the country,  so you can make better decisions for yourselves and your loved ones.
