Discussing Diverticulitis – Diverticulosis is a common condition of the colon which occurs in 60% of adults over age 60. About 4-15% of these patients will develop “diverticulitis,” which can present as a mild case or lead to serious illness. Learn about the important distinction in these terms and how to recognize symptoms from a national expert.
