This week, our topic is Crohn’s Disease, and Dr. Franz Goldstein was a champion in the diagnosis and treatment of this condition. He lost his entire family in war-torn Germany and came to America alone in 1947. Grateful for his new start, he devoted his life to the art of healing, distinguishing himself as a world-class gastroenterologist and a highly respected expert in inflammatory bowel disease.
He was admired by patients and colleagues alike as brilliant and refined, but most importantly, he was humble.
