Skin Lesions in People of Color – Common conditions of the skin, hair, and nails vary in appearance in people of color from light skinned people.  In addition, people of all colors are at risk for skin cancer, but because they occur less commonly in people of color, there is less emphasis on suspicion of skin cancer and the cancers are more often found at an advanced stage with a lower survival rate.

Your Real Champion – “Love Thy Neighbor

Amy Stoner has devoted her entire life to serving the less fortunate. Her first job after college was at a Head Start center in Chester.  She then heard of an opportunity to work with disadvantage pregnant moms.  Moved by the love for her own one-year old daughter, Amy answered the call to work with birth parents who were considering parenting or adoption.  Her work continues with Catholic Social Services where she has spent over 35 years, touching the lives of thousands of God’s neediest children.
