Education is the most reliable way to escape poverty by completing college or a certain program. However, many students in community colleges, especially those on scholarship, fail to complete their program due to food insecurity and drop out. Dr. Matthew Carabasi and Mr. Jim Rafeedie have launched FAST with their Princeton ’74 classmates and the American Association of Community Colleges. 100% of the money raised with this website-based campaign will go directly to the 39 participating community colleges to support student food pantries and help a struggling student realize his/her dream.
