Dr. Victoria Vetter is recognized internationally for her research related to abnormal heart rhythms and sudden cardiac arrest in children. She has also devoted several years to the Youth Heart Watch program, which has the goal of providing a sufficient number of AEDs (automatic external defibrillator) in every school along with a written cardiac response plan and regularly scheduled “mock emergency” drills.
