Cervical cancer usually doesn’t lead to death, but it shouldn’t take a back seat to other cancers. Especially since the screening tests help find cervical cancer at an early stage, and there is a vaccine that helps to reduce the risk! Tune in to hear important details about risks, screening tests and the vaccine. Then, we’ll also review ways to watch for uterine and ovarian cancer.

Your Real Champion®: Thank you, Officers of the Lower Merion Township Police Department

Police officers willingly sign up for a job in which they risk their own lives to keep us safe, whether it’s tracking criminals, maintaining traffic safety, or administering CPR in an emergency. But many people don’t realize that aside from catching bad guys, our officers spend a tremendous amount of time enhancing public safety in other ways.

One of the great services is having an officer with special training, insert the base of an infant/child’s car seat in your vehicle and offer instructions how to maintain its safe position.

Thanks to the Officers of the Lower Merion Township Police Department, children are much safer as passengers in their car seats. Tune in to hear about the many community services these brave and generous officers provide.

Each week, we highlight the Real Champions in your life! Your family, friends, or colleagues who go the extra mile to help others in their community.
